Integrate UVexplorer with Patch Manager to visualize your switch connections with in-depth details. This integration improves the Patch Manager offering and helps your team troubleshoot issues faster.
UVexplorer captures extensive inventory details for all network devices, including system information, serial numbers, IP/MAC addresses, host names, installed software, network interfaces, connections, route tables, ARP caches, BIOS information, and more. Users can conveniently access this within their Patch Manager platform.
UVexplorer thoroughly analyzes your network’s structure, comprehending the connections of your devices at the Layer-2 link and port level. This enables UVexplorer to automatically generate detailed network maps and keep them updated whenever changes occur. Through seamless integration, UVexplorer’s network maps can be automatically exported into Patch Manager.
The automated creation of network maps at scheduled intervals ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, including NIS2.
The integration process between UVexplorer and Patch Manager is easy to setup. Follow these steps to export your network maps and device inventory:
1. Go to the Settings tab and select ‘Integration Settings’, then select Patch Manager and click ‘Edit’.
Now enter your Server URL, Username and API Key, then check ‘Enabled’:
2. Confirm your Patch Manager Target credentials and click Connect… Then select the Object Schema from the dropdown and click ‘Export’:
3. UVexplorer will export the devices, data, and all information into your Patch Manager account.
