Display the spanning tree in UVexplorer

The Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) operates at Layer 2 of the network and serves to mitigate looping in network topologies. It was developed to address issues arising from data transmission across local area networks (LANs) with redundant pathways. Without proper oversight and regulation of traffic flow, data may become trapped in a loop, traversing network segments repeatedly, which can severely impair performance and nearly halt traffic altogether.

The spanning tree for forwarding and blocking is displayed in UVexplorer.  To view the spanning tree, go to the “STP” tab:
